Military personnel have been dispatched to Ejura to quell the unrest that has erupted in the aftermath of the assassination of Kaaka, one of the #FixTheCountry campaigners.
Ibrahim Muhammed, who is also thought to be a part of the Economic Fighters League and, more recently, the #FixTheCountry movement, is said to have been attacked by a crowd about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
His cries for aid caught the attention of several Sabonline inhabitants, a Zongo village in the Ejura municipality, but they arrived too late to discover him comatose.
Ibrahim Muhammed, well known as Macho Kaaka, was taken to Ejura Sekyeredumase District Hospital.
He was referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after his injuries were assessed. On Monday, June 28, 2021, the social activist passed away.
Following that, some enraged Ejura youngsters took to the streets, demanding justice and wailing about intimidation.
When military personnel came and began shooting randomly into the crowded crowd, the demonstration devolved into a chaotic spectacle. Most of these teenagers had to flee for safety while others shouted at the top of their lungs.
