The Electricity Company of Ghana(ECG) has announced the interruption of power in some parts of Accra starting from Thursday 27th May 2021 to Friday,11 June 2021 at peak hours.
ECG further released the timetable for the load-shedding indicating the groups and when they will experience dumsor.
This is to facilitate the work of contractors in an effort to improve power supply reliability.
ECG in a statement detailed that work will be on the Kasoa Bulk Supply Point(BSP) which is close to completion.
This requires a re-construction of a section of Ghana Grid Company’s 161KV Winneba to Mallam transmission lines.
Lights will go off between 6:00 pm and 12 midnight on scheduled days.
