A growing number of countries are legalizing same- sex marriage amid a steady advance in rights for LGBTQI + people.

The bringing of this LGBTQI, ( Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Oueer & Intersex) in Ghana has arisen problems as Ghanaians are seriously against the act of being with the same opposite and sees it as a sinful act although some think is human rights and the people must feel free and do what praises them.

Kwabena Kwabena has thrown his support behind the LGBTQI community. In a post, the ‘Adult music’ hitmaker tackled men of God speaking against the LGBTQI community. He wrote; To the men of God who are spewing hate at our queer brothers and sisters. How do you read your bibles again!

Another popular Ghanaian media personality and entrepreneur, Peace Hyde has openly declared her support for member of LGBTQI community in Ghana.

She wrote; ” Ghana supports Equality thereby asking for the government to allow same sex marriage in Ghana”.

Sister Derby has shaken Twitter with her call for same-sex marriage to be legalized in Ghana following the LGBTQI office opening in the country.

Boris Kodjoe is part of African celebrities who signed jointly to support the legalization LGBTQI community in Ghana, which include Idris Elba, Naomi Campbell and Edward Enninful.

Popular Nollywood actress Juliet Ibrahim has also declared support behind LGBTQI community in Ghana. She wrote Ghanaian homophobes are “cowards and hypocrites will celebrate murderers, rapist, bad politicians, fake pastors, polygamist and many more but hate on someone because of their sexuality”.
